Inter class cultural competitions in various events are organized every yearat college level. Winnersand runner ups are given prizes on college annual day function. The selected students in various cultural activities are encouraged to participate at university level and also at national level.
The major activities of students in cultural and literary events are listed below:
- The college Foundation day celebration on 14th November every year.
- World Food Day celebration on 16th October every year.
- Gandhi Jayanti celebration on 2nd October every year.
- Teachers’ day celebration on 5th September every year.
- Participation in University Youth festival activities like Solo Song, Group Dance, Debate, Elocution, Extempore, Mono-acting, Cartooning and Rangoli every year.
- Poetry competition, Essay writing competition and Tree plantation are regular features of student activity performed every year.
- Five students of college participated (Mr. Hitesh Paharia, Mr.Asit Kumar,Devarpan Datta, Mr.Abhishek Ameta and Mr. Sourabh Roy) in University contingent participated in 15th All India Inter Agriculture University Youth Festival (Agriunifest-2015) organized at Karnal and won the prizes.
- Twenty Two students participated in ADROIT-2015 organized at AAU,Anand won First prize in Model Making and second prize in Ad making.Model Making Team- Gaurav Gaur, Sandeep Meena, Abhishek Ameta.Ad Making: Sourav Roy, Deepak Meghwal, Sanjay Pal Singh, Rahul Bhatt.
- College students won Second prize in (Science Fair 2015) organized by Hindu Spiritual Service Foundation held at Jaipur and won Rs 11,000.(Gaurav Gaur, Sandeep Meena, Abhishek Ameta, Akarsh Gupta).
- Gaurav Gaur, B.Tech, IV year student was felicitated by University on the occasion of Republic Day celebration on 26th January, 2016.
- Six students of college participated in University contingent participated in 16thAll India Inter Agriculture University Youth Festival (Agriunifest-2016) organized at Bhuvneshwar, Orissa.
- Three students participated in “Lecture competition” organized in collaboration with Rajasthanni Motyar Parishad and Rotary club of Udaipur in 2016.Yugdarshan Singh Asolia, IIyr. got the Second prize.
- Abhishek Ameta and Mr. Sandeep Meena were felicitated on the occasion of Independence Day celebration on 15thAugust, 2016.
- College students won consolation prize in Science Fair organized by Hindu Spiritual Service Foundation held at Jaipur (23rdto 26thSept, 2016) in Model Making category “Eco-Philip Clean Energy Industrial Prototype” and won 5,000 cash prize.(Rahul Bhatt, Utsav Ameta, Nistha Kataria, Sakshi Patodia & Kapil Menaria).
- Adroit2016 (16th-19thOctober 2016): A contingent of 13 students participated in National Level tech Fest organized by FBTBE, AAU, Anand. College students got first prize in Model Making (Utsav Ameta, Rahul Bhatt ).
- Three students (Ms. Madhur Nandvanshi, Mr.Nitesh Panwar, Mr.Rohan Singh Panwar) were selected for All India Agriculture University Youth Festival-2017 organized at RAU, Bikaner.
- Ritvika Rao, of IV year B.Tech was felicitated on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August, 2017.
- Fourteen students participated in ADROIT-2017 organized at College of FPBTE,AAU, Anand and won First prize in Poster Making and Second in Model & Ad making.
- Participation of two students– Ms. Jasmine and Mr. Pulkit in preliminary round of quiz competition on “Food Safety” conducted at SKA Asia Quiz Competition on Food Safety at Anand, Gujarat on 22.07.2018.
- College received Certificate of Appreciation for All India Essay Writing Event 2018 on 13.01.2019 and Mr.Ridam Ameta stood First in the state.
- Participation by three students in “Yuva Sansad Evam Bhaashan Pratiyogita” at MLSU on 21.02.2019 and got second prize.
- Participation of 13 students in ‘All India Agricultural University Youth Festival’ held on 2.02.2019 at Sardar krushinagar, Anand.
- Participation of two students in ‘40th NIAZ AHMED MEMORIAL DEBATE’ competition at B.N. College, Udaipur (2019).
- Celebrations of Guru Purnima on 16.7.2019.
- A special lecture on “Personality Development” was organized on 21.9.2019 at CDFT in collaboration with Gillette India Ltd. and Rajasthan Patrika.
- Blood Donation camp was organized at College premises on 2nd October 2019 in commemoration with 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. About 110 units of blood were donated by students and staff of the University.
- Organized 2 days N-Reach programme (Nestle India) on Soft Skills Development for final year students on 9th and 10th 2019.
- Celebrated “National Agricultural Education Day on 3rd Dec. 2019.
- Celebration of Martyr’s day on 30.01.2020.
- Participation of students in Niaz Ahmed Debate competition organized by Dept. of English, MLSU on 05.02.2020. Anusha Upadhyaya stood third and the College stood II position in the event.
- A Special Lecture was organized by CDFT on “Milk Procurement in India: Challenges and Perspectives” delivered by Mr. Manohar Singh Chauhan, M.D. Madhur Dairy via Zoom for the faculty and students of CDFT on 08.06.2020 at 10:00 AM.
- A Special lecture on “Milk Pricing systems in Co-operatives” by Shri Dinesh Choudhary, Group Head, Dudhmansagar Dairy, was organized via Zoom for the faculty and students of CDFT on 25.06.2020 at 12:15 PM.
- Special Lecture on “Animal Housing (Goat, Cattle & Buffalo” by Dr. M.L. Gurjar Assistant Professor, CVAS, Vallabhnagar was organized via Zoom for the faculty and students of CDFT on 27.06.2020 at 11:00 AM.
- Participation of students in Niaz Ahmed Debate competition organized by Dept. of English, MLSU on 05.02.2020. Anusha Upadhyaya stood third and the College stood II position in the event.
- E- Quiz organized on World Milk Day “Test Your Dairy and Food Products Knowledge” by Sh. Kamalesh Kumar Meena, Sh. Mangal Kabra under the leadership of Dr V. D. Mudgal, Dean, CDFT. In this quiz 10,000 students, faculty and industry professional participated in which 4000 got the certificate of excellence after scoring 65% (Launched on 1st June 2020).
- E-Quiz organized by Dr. Nikita Wadhawan and Mrs.RanuNagori under the Chairmanship of Dr. V.D. Mudgal, Dean, CDFT on “Covid-19 and Food Acceptability, Awareness”. The E-quiz received overwhelming response and more than 1500 participants attended the quiz.
